Advertising Creative Specs
Everything you need to supply effective, accessible creatives for sponsorship placements on All Health and Care UK: sizes, formats, file weights, accessibility guidance, tracking and a practical delivery checklist for health and care campaigns.
Standard banner sizes
Supply at 1x (CSS pixel) and, where possible, a 2x retina version for sharper rendering.
Placement note: Banner availability and exact locations depend on the package selected on the Advertising & Sponsorship page.
Formats & weights
- PNG — best for sharp logos and text; use when transparency or crisp edges matter.
- JPG — best for photographic backgrounds; save at high quality and optimise.
- SVG — ideal for vector logos/icons; ensure fonts are outlined or embedded.
Max file size: 150 KB per creative (display). For high-res or source assets you may share larger files separately.
Colour space: sRGB, RGB only.
Accessibility & quality
- Provide concise, descriptive alt text (e.g. “CALMSS — mental health support service for adults and young people”).
- Maintain contrast ≥ WCAG AA for text over backgrounds.
- Keep key text ≥ 14–16 px at 1x; avoid dense paragraphs in banners.
- Leave safe padding around logos/text for responsive crops.
- Prefer static creatives to ensure page performance and readability.
